


 | Puerto Naos is the main tourist center on the sunny west coast of La Palma, one of the Spanish Canary Islands.Puerto Naos has the largest beach on the island which, like all the beaches on the island, has clean black sand. The beach has been awarded the blue flag. The services include life guard, toilets, showers and beach beds. The palm trees on the beach give shade from the sun. There is a wide range of restaurants including traditional Palmero bar-restaurants serving tapas and meals, Italian, Meditereanean, European, German and Chinese restaurants. There are restaurants serving local fish, steaks, and local dishes including calamares, papas arugadas with mojo rojo. On the Boulevard, which ends in front of Playa Delphin, there are several cafes and bars where you can sit and watch the sun go down. There are also shops, 2 bakers, a dispensing chemist, car and mountain bike rental, a scuba-diving centre and 3 supermarkets in the streets behind the boulevard. Puerto Naos is an all-year-round holiday location which enjoys good weather during the whole year. It has plenty of sunshine on most days with occassional cloudy but warm days in the winter months. The nights are almost always pleasantly warm. |
